Strengths
  • current products are market leaders in some countries in terms of market share and sales.
  • Brand loyalty to produts and to the corporate identity
  • effective promotion
  • flexibility in promotion methods
  • excellent distribution network
  • constant R&D leading to new ideas

Weaknesses

  • age of the life cycle of certain products
  • restricted product range could cause problems if sales suddenly fall

Opportunities

  • expansion into newer markets such as sports drinks, low calorie drinks and drinks with new flavours
  • expansion into new geographical areas
  • development of a global brand and possible global marketing
  • possible growing demand for soft beverages

Threats

  • growing compeition from other brands
  • increasing competition from competitors bringing out new products
  • compitition form alcoholic beverages
